The D-SITE (Decision Support Systems Integrating Technology and Economics) research group develops and applies software tools to improve the decision process on the management of land, water and energy resources through model-based planning and design, cost-efficiency assessment and optimisation of land use and implementation of technical management measures.
The group was established in 1998 and is a part of the Center for Applied Geoscience in the Department of Geosciences at the University of Tübingen.
Our aim is to help decision makers by providing know-how and smart decision support tools.
We wish to actively support the protection of the environment by providing integrative solutions that guarantee sustainable use of our resources.
